About 318 E Wallace Street
The Campbell-Hagan Building is a true historic masterpiece and icon in Downtown San Saba. Built in 1910, and totally restored and renovated to its original beauty in 2013. Contractors were intensely careful regarding all local codes, material acquisition, and followed strict standards to ensure that the structure remained sound, modernized for good business use, but also compliant in meeting regulations and requirements. Dating back to 1910, The JC Campbell’s desired for the location to become an attractive and viable structure, so the vision was to create an “in-town” headquarters for shopping, relaxation, appeal, and open to a variety of vendors. This opportunity included entrepreneurs of many origins, goods, and responsibilities as they piloted this wonderful vision. There are no words to describe the view from the beautiful upstairs balcony. This again leaves much creativity and imagination for what is a possibility for the future of this majestic and functioning building. There is so much to be said for the retaining the vision of community history, culture, aesthetics, and a legacy for the current and future generations of San Saba County. The building is currently leased with opportunity to continue the lease and generate income flow.
